The weather for round 3 was fantastic and with the Se-Van performing well on the previous day, the team were again look8612059_origing to score some solid points.

Round 3

Race 1 –  During the ball draw Nathan pulled out row 7. So near the back of the field, Nathan was looking to make some positions early on, which happened and the Se-Van was soon running in the top 10 and like yesterday, was looking strong. Mid way through the race Nathan got hung out on the outside of Surtees and lost a number of positions. The Se-Van was soon back on line and was back in the fight, and finished 12th.

Race 2 – Starting race 2 on row 5, the First 4 Vans backed Se-Van was soon running well. With all 28 cars running very similar lap times it was a tough race and Nathan got the Se-Van running in 10th after dropping back during the first couple of laps due to contact. As the flag dropped the Se-Van finished 10th.

Race 3 – With 2 strong heat positions the Van lined up on row 8 and got a great start to the race. After 2 laps Nathan had got the car up to a very strong position until the fuel pump failed at the start of lap 3. This brought a very early end to what could of been a great race.

After a very good weekend Nathan is sitting 15th in the championship. The next round is in 2 weeks at Croft.
